The Canzona String Quartet is led by Nicholas Ward with colleagues from NCO soloists, the chamber ensemble of the Northern Chamber Orchestra which he directed for over 30 years.

In March Nicholas was in Ripon Cathedral, leading the Orchestra D’Amici in a marvellous performance of Elgar’s Dream of Gerontius. This promises to be an exquisite evening of classical music in the unrivalled setting of this beautiful 19th Century Church in the parkland of the Newby Estate.
